Costs

Medical Day and Young at Heart Dementia Programs

The regular cost to attend our Medical Day program is $79/day*.
The Young at Heart program is $80/day.

Due to a grant from the Maryland Office of Health Services, Daybreak is able to subsidize these rates based on income. Many of our participants pay significantly less than the regular rate. Additional subsidy may be offered through other grants or donated funds.

Additionally, Maryland Medical Assistance, the Veterans Administration, Department of Social Services Senior Care, or Long Term Care Insurance may pay in part or in full.

Typically Medicare and other health insurances do not pay for Adult Medical Day care.

All rates include all meals, transportation, in house activities, and basic nursing care.

Please contact the director@daybreakadultdayservices.org to discuss your situation and learn how we may be able to assist you.

Senior Center Plus

With Transportation: $57/day*
Without Transportation: $47/day*

Thanks to a grant from Frederick County Government and donated funds, subsidy may be available.
Senior Center Plus rates include all meals and in house activities.
Please contact the director@daybreakadultdayservices.org for more information.

Please note that Daybreak staff will determine which program is the right fit after learning more about each potential participant.

*Participants in all programs provide their own incontinent supplies if needed and medications if they are taken during the day. Additional costs are optional and include hairdresser services, field trips (costs vary), podiatry services, or rehabilitation services. Many of these services are covered by health insurance.
